Christmas As We Remember It

We’re excited about our first Christmas celebrations at our new school facility. I walk along the hallways and observe the theme of the incarnation clearly displayed in the wall decorations. I listen to the Kindergarten music class as they sing “O Come let us adore Him . . .” I hear the elementary choir blending their voices in preparation for the Christmas Concert beautifully enunciating the words of Isaiah, “Behold a virgin shall conceive. . .” Meanwhile the High School vocal ensemble tune up their voices with words that express the wonder of God’s redemption plan. The Christmas story is told over and over again—through words, drama and song—in every classroom.

No competing religious festivals! No politically correct “Happy Holidays”. No toning down of the message. Just a concentrated, unrestrained recognition of the greatest event in human history—the incredible message of salvation, the message of hope “for all people” made possible through Christ alone.

No mixed message here! This is Christmas as it used to be—Christmas, the way it should be.

  1. Amen!
This is the reason we chose this school for our children to be nurtured.
Thank you Mr. Andrews and all the teachers at PCA!
